DMB Group, Kiel, Takes Over Sichert Group, Berlin
Corporate group Dr. Dieter Murmann, Kiel, via its 100% subsidiary Steffel GmbH (now Sichert Holding GmbH), took over Sichert Group, a group of companies active in the development, manufacturing and distribution of outdoor cabinets for sophisticated telecommunications solutions. The companies include, in particular, Berthold Sichert GmbH, Berlin, Berthold Sichert GmbH & Co Metallwerke KG, Berlin, Berthold Sichert Polska Sp.zo.o and other holdings in Poland. In the course of the transaction, management received an interest in the company. In a continuously strong-growing market of cable networks, Sichert Group will remain an important network infrastructure provider in the future. With the acquisition, the DMB Group, today one of the leading suppliers of compressors for industry, shipping and navy, pursues a diversification of its business areas by acquisition.
