Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek provides advice to Otto Group / Hermes Logistics Group on sale of TechnikService 24 GmbH & Co. KG

Hermes Logistics Group, a group of companies being held by Otto Group at 100%, sold its subsidiary, TechnikService 24 GmbH & Co. KG (TS24), specializing in technical customer service for appliances and home electronics, to Elbe Partners Industries AG retroactively as of July 1, 2009.

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek (Hamburg) provided counsel to Otto Group / Hermes Logistics Group under the lead of Dr. Jörg Schewe (M&A, Corporate Law). In addition, Kay Jacobsen (Employment Law) and Dr. Kai Erhardt (Corporate Law) supported the sale process.

Hermes Logistics Group decided to take this step in order to further concentrate on its core business, the provision of logistics services.

In January of this year, Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek had already provided counsel to Otto Group when they had been taking out an interest in KITARO Fashion Group.
