Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek Advises Possehl Mittelstandsbeteiligungen GmbH & Co. KG on Acquisition

Possehl Mittelstandsbeteiligungen GmbH & Co. KG, a 100% subsidiary of Lübeck-based L. Possehl & Co. mbH, acquired a majority interest in DMA Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered at Höxter.

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek provided legal counsel to the company on the acquisition. The relevant purchase agreement has already been signed, approval by the Federal Cartel Office is pending.

The sale of initially 80% of the holding in DMA to Possehl is to secure the medium-sized company's continued existence at an early stage. The acquisition of the majority interest in DMA represents the fourth acquisition for Possehl SME unit in the current fiscal year.

Possehl Group is a diversified group with eight decentralized divisions. It employs a staff of about 7,000 around the world and generates revenue of around EUR 1.6 billion.

DMA Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG designs, manufactures and assembles premium conveying technology for the container glass industry and for numerous fields in the food industry.
