In the case of proper use and foreseeable misuse of these products, no risks may emerge for the user; this is ensured through the Product Safety Law. This challenging and highly fragmented field of law is characterized by numerous individual legal provisions for certain kinds of products both at the European and national level as well as by the frequently encountered reference to technical standards.
