Julia Degen practices in liability and insurance contract law, acting as defense, coverage or monitoring counsel. She has more than 15 years of litigation experience and represents our clients in and out of court in issues relating to liability and coverage. Her professional experience in the sector includes working for a German insurance law boutique, an international law firm and as inhouse counsel at Siemens AG. Following her in-house position she also advises on insurance regulatory matters and insurance distribution law. In addition to publications in the field of insurance contract, insurance distribution and liability law, she gives lectures and holds training courses and has been a lecturer at University of Applied Sciences Cologne since 2019.
