The development project involves building private apartments and a service residence in the park of one of Europe's largest baroque palaces, further to the conversion of the palace and its immediate vicinity into a grand hotel. Around 100 owner-occupied apartments have been built, as well as a retirement home community consisting of 12 houses, an indoor swimming pool, a health-care area and several underground car parks. With a monetary volume of some 200 million Euro, the overall project was begun in 1997 and completed in 2004.
From 2001 onward, our operations were particularly focused on supporting the principal in the implementation and billing of contracts with the project stakeholders. The development project was not based on a blanket contract, but rather operated on a variety of single contract awards with all the resultant interface difficulties.
