Convention Center In Dresden

The “New Dresden Terrace” Convention Center – so-called because of its sloping roofs – has become part of the world famous architecture of the historic city center of Dresden. Opened in May 2004, the Convention Center features numerous convention halls and can host up to 5,000 visitors. Project costs amounted to some 75 million Euro.

A particularly distinctive feature of the Center is its heated facade of steel and glass. Building work was unexpectedly affected by the “flood of the century” in August 2002, which impacted on the building located on the banks of the Elbe River.

Our comprehensive consultancy services for the general contractor during the project execution were particularly focused on drawing up contract addenda, approval of works rendered, and billing/final billing of contracts.
