District Spree-Neiße: award and permit procedures public passenger transport services

The line authorizations in the Spree-Neiße/East bundle and the service contract concluded on this basis expire on December 31, 2014. Pursuant to the primary-law provisions of Regulation (EC) 1370/2007 on public passenger transport services by rail and by road and to the amended Passenger Transport Act, which entered into force on January 1, 2013 contract and authorizations are newly awarded or granted in a collaboratively regulated procedure, agreed upon between the administrative authority and approval agency.
