Gas- und Wärme-Institut Essen e.V.: Procurement of co-generation plants

After concluding extensive laboratory tests and professional long-term investigations, Essen gas and heating institute Gas- und Wärme-Institut Essen e.V. (GWI) intends to construct up to 100 co-generation plants of different principles in a model region (InnovationCity region) as part of a practice phase. For the model test, the co-generation plants are to be installed in representative building types yet to be established with different heating standards. In three European-wide award procedures, Gas- und Wärme-Institut Essen e.V. invited bids for the procurement of the co-generation plants, measurement technology and the installations of the plants as framework agreements.
