Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises Rhein-Lahn district

 

The commercial law firm of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, with Dr. Stephan Witteler, Partner, and lawyers Christine Grau and Christian Miercke, all at the firm's Frankfurt office, legally advises the district of Rhein-Lahn. The advice centers on matters of state aid law, public procurement law, and municipal business law in connection with the development of broadband infrastructure. The team led by Dr. Stephan Witteler accompanies district Rhein-Lahn's invitation to bid on awarding funds in the form of public investment aid for the purpose of expanding NGA broadband access in the district's currently underserved areas.

Rhein-Lahn is a district in northern Rhineland-Palatinate. The district comprises the landscape to the right of the Middle Rhine between the towns of Kaub and Lahnstein on the one hand and the foothills of southern Westerwald, northwestern Taunus, and western Hintertaunus on the other.

Rhein-Lahn district has a population of some 122,000. It consists of the city of Lahnstein and 7 associated municipalities with its member municipalities. Rhein-Lahn district extends over an area of 780 square kilometers.
