Krefeld and Mönchengladbach - Cooperation in waste disposal

The cities of Krefeld and Mönchengladbach intend to cooperate in municipal waste disposal. The cities plan on partially bundling their services in waste disposal in the future, thus generating synergies and economies of scale that in the long term will lead to a considerable reduction in fees for its citizens.

We reviewed the legal permissibility and implementation of the intended cooperation in a comprehensive feasibility study.
