Regiobahn GmbH - Extension of rapid transit rail line S 28

Regiobahn GmbH intends to extend and electrify Regiobahn’s Mettmann to Wuppertal S28 rapid transit rail line. Extensive building and supply services are required for the expansion/new construction.
 
In a first tranche, transport association Rhein-Ruhr AöR already provided funding of some EUR 34 million for the measure that is in the particular interest of the state; additional subsidies are sought for the project’s subsequent stages.
 
The project’s uniform time schedule leads to a complex structure of contract awards with various award and completion dates interlocking and numerous interfaces between the different services.
