RWW - Rheinisch-Westfälisches Wasserwerk GmbH

In 2002, the cities of Bottrop, Gladbeck, Mülheim an der Ruhr, Oberhausen, and the municipal district of Recklinghausen sold a portion of their shares in the public waterworks Rheinisch-Westfälisches Wasserwerk GmbH (RWW) and restructured their cooperation with the RWE Group.

The sale was in the area of three-digit million volume (Euro) and was one of the largest M&A projects in the history of public water supply. We advised the community shareholders, structured the project, organized, and carried out the investor competition.
