Shark-City Pfungstadt: Heuking Stuttgart is fighting for Europe's largest marine aquarium

Europe's largest public aquarium is to be built at the BAB A67 highway, a stone's throw from science city Darmstadt. Visitors will be able to admire numerous exotic fish, including over 40 sharks, in pools filled with 14.5 million liters of seawater that are up to 25 meters deep. The project sponsor collaborates with one of the world’s leading marine biologists and shark specialists from Switzerland. As a special attraction, visitors will be able to organize dives with (some of) the sharks.
Stuttgart-based real estate partner Dr. Wolfram Sandner, specialized in advising on complex projects, assists the project sponsor (The Seven Seas) in obtaining building rights and the required public law permits. In his 20 years of work in the real estate industry, this is now the first time that he is dealing with real sharks.
