TRIMET Aluminium SE - Funding project aluminum electrolysis

In an innovative project, TRIMET Aluminium SE wants to implement aluminum electrolysis as a virtual battery. It wants to rebuild a test series of two electrolytic cells of a Essen production plant (a total of 360 electrolytic furnaces) as a pilot application for this purpose.

In addition to TRIMET Aluminium SE, University of Wuppertal is involved in the project.
