Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek is Joined by Four Colleagues from Aderhold Gassner

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek succeeded in acquiring the services of Roland Gerold, Michael Nusser, Fabian Gerstner and Detlef Kuhlen, all coming from Aderhold Gassner, for its Munich and Düsseldorf offices.

Roland Gerold (48) and Michael Nusser (47) will become Equity Partners at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek as of April 1, 2009 and support the Munich office, as will Fabian Gerstner (34), who will join as an Associate on April 1. Prior to their employment at Aderhold Gassner at the beginning of 2008, where they acted as Managing Shareholders and Partners, all of them were employed at law firm Labbé und Partner in Munich.

Gerold and Gerstner focus on public construction law and planning law. In addition, Gerold has long-time experience in the fields of public business law, in particular in the development of retailing projects, and mediation.

Nusser focuses on real estate law and on inheritance law for which he is a specialist attorney. In addition to representation in court and out of court in all areas of business law and in the fields of civil construction and architect law, Nusser also specializes in legal advice on issues arising during construction. Dr. Armin Frhr. von Grießenbeck, member of the Management Committee, comments on the expansion of the Munich office as follows: "The colleagues are an ideal complement for the Munich office since the public law field has not yet been covered here. Moreover, we are adding a new focus on inheritance law with Mr. Nusser. Thus, the addition of the new colleagues provides an extraordinarily good fit with our strategic considerations regarding the expansion of the Munich office. I am also glad that we will be able to expand our Practice Group Construction Real Estate Public Procurement by new competencies."

Detlef Kuhlen (50) has most recently acted as Managing Shareholder and Partner of law firm Aderhold Gassner and will join Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in Düsseldorf as Equity Partner on May 1, 2009. Previously, he had been Managing Director of ERGO Trust GmbH for many years and was responsible for capital investments of the ERGO Insurance Group in funds. He will support the insurance law practice started by Dr. Herbert Palmberger at the Düsseldorf office in mid-2008. Dr. Herbert Palmberger on Detlef Kuhlen joining the law firm: "Mr. Kuhlen represents an excellent complement in providing advice to insurance companies on their capital investments and in insurance control law. We are very glad to have acquired his services."
