Pearl GTL Project

Gigantic, but also trend-setting – a multitude of construction projects in the Persian Gulf Emirates can be described as having these properties.

The "Pearl GTL Project" can also be characterized this way. Jointly owned by Qatar Petroleum and Shell, the world's largest Gas-To-Liquids plant is being constructed in Ras Laffan, north of Doha. In this GTL plant, liquid products and fuels made from natural gas are produced in a more environmentally friendly manner. The order volume of all buildings required for the plant is about EUR 72.5 million. Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises the client on matters related to the construction work and on the enforcement of claims.

In another building project in Qatar, Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek also advises the client on construction work matters. In this project, an 8.6 km-long supply tunnel is being constructed in the area of the Education City campus in Doha. The entire order volume amounts to about EUR 115 million.
