Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek strengthens Tax Law Practice in Hamburg

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek expands the Tax Law practice in Hamburg where Fabian Gaffron will join as Salaried Partner. The 39-year-old lawyer and tax advisor comes from KPMG AG and will join the firm on June 1, 2012.

At KPMG Hamburg, Fabian Gaffron worked as Senior Manager in the Tax Department. From 2007 to 2009, he worked at KPMG LLP in New York where he headed the German Tax Center of Excellence. In addition to his comprehensive experience in international tax law, he advises financial and strategic investors on national and cross-border reorganization and transactions. He also has many years of experience in successfully defending in tax audits and in enforcing claims in tax court proceedings.

With his tax expertise, Fabian Gaffron will strengthen the team around Hamburg-based Partner Dr. Jörg Schewe.
 
At the end of last year, two tax experts, Marc Scheunemann and Klaus Weinand-Härer, had already joined the firm of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in Düsseldorf and Frankfurt.
