Thus, the Brussels office will be in the heart of the EU quarter in the future and in an even more central location than previously. The new offices are in the immediate neighborhood to the Council of the European Union, the European Commission headquarters in the Berlaymont building and close to the European Parliament. In addition, the office can be easily reached from the airport.
Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek has been represented in Brussels with an office since 1999, in order to take account of the increasing importance of EU business law for the law firm's clients. The Brussels office's areas of expertise include in particular EU antitrust and aid law and additionally EU foreign trade law (EU anti-dumping and anti-subsidy law), EU energy law and air traffic law. The office is headed by Partner Simon Hirsbrunner.
Already in October, Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek's Frankfurt office had relocated to Frankfurt's city center. "A central location with easy accessibility is important for our offices. In particular in Brussels the links to the Commission, the Council and the European Parliament are of major importance," said Simon Hirsbrunner.
