Real estate investor Orion Capital Managers (Orion) acquired large parts of the "Odin portfolio" from funds of Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM). Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek accompanied the real estate investor on the acquisition of the commercial real estate portfolio with 19 office buildings and advised it on public law aspects of building and planning law. Dr. Thomas Nickel, partner at the commercial law firm's Frankfurt office, has advised Orion in public law for many years.
The portfolio's estimated market value is some 625 million euros, with Landesbank Hesse-Thuringia providing financing of 347 million euros. The buildings were part of CS Euroreal and CS Property, the Credit Suisse real estate funds in liquidation.
In addition to ten properties in large German cities such as Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Stuttgart, the real estate package also comprises locations such as Darmstadt, Dortmund, or Hanover.
