Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised FinTech Group AG on the participation of SafeCharge and cooperation

With a team led by the Frankfurt based partner Dr. Günther M. Bredow, Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised FinTech Group AG with respect to the participation of SafeCharge International Group Limited by way of a share capital increase in the amount of about EUR 10 million and the corresponding agreement on a strategic partnership. The team of Dr. Bredow advised FinTech Group AG on corporate and capital markets law aspects in particular with respect to the structuring of the transaction.

Up to now, SafeCharge International Group Limited has acquired 5 per cent in FinTech Group AG by way of the share capital increase. In the long term, the group intends to increase its participation. By way of a strategic partnership agreement entered into in this context the parties aim at offering to customers of SafeCharge inter alia comprehensive banking services, mobile payment opportunities and debit cards.
