"ISLA International Sports Law Conference 2015" to be held in Hamburg for the second time

On October 15 and 16, 2015, "ISLA International Sports Law Conference" will be held in Hamburg for the second time. Dr. Johan-Michel Menke, LL.M., of the commercial law firm of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in Hamburg and at the same time Secretary General of the International Sport Lawyers Association (ISLA), will open the conference entitled "Sports & Money" on October 15, 2015. The event, which will be held at Hamburg Chamber of Commerce's Innovation Campus and at Bucerius Law School, will focus in particular on the Hanseatic city's Olympic bid.

On October 16, 2015, Conference Manager Dr. Roland Czycholl, LL.B., of the law firm of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek's Hamburg office, will guide through the program jointly with Dr. Hariolf Wenzler, Chancellor and CEO of Bucerius Law School. In addition to Prof. Ettie Ward (USA), sports lawyer Luca Ferarri (Italy), and Daniel Lorenz Pereira of FC Porto, Prof. Martin Schimke of the International Court of Arbitration for Sport CAS, and Dr. Nikolas Hill, General Manager of Olympic bid company Hamburg Bewerbungsgesellschaft 2024, will be speaking at the conference.

Zurich-based ISLA is the world's biggest organization of sports lawyers. Dr. Johan-Michel Menke, LL.M., is the association's longtime Secretary General, jointly with Dr. Jan Räker, LL.M., Director Legal at VfB Stuttgart 1893 e.V.
