Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek's Munich office continues to grow with Oliver Treptow

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek expands the presence at its Munich office with Dr. Oliver Treptow (40) joining the firm as Salaried Partner in the Corporate/M&A practice effective July 1, 2016.

Oliver Treptow focuses on advising in Corporate/M&A and in the law governing professionals, particularly lawyers, patent lawyers, and physicians, as well as in medical law (governing physicians under contract with a health insurance company). Treptow joins the firm from the Munich office of Taylor Wessing, where he had worked since 2009, most recently as Salary Partner. Previously, he had been research assistant at the Corporate Law Department of Prof. Carsten Schäfer at the Mannheim University's Institute of Business Law.

Treptow will reinforce the corporate practice at the Munich office, led by partners Dr. Frank Metz and Boris Dürr. Jointly with Dürr, Treptow will expand the Munich healthcare practice, which has been very active in the past. "We are pleased to have gained a Salaried Partner in Oliver Treptow, who is a good fit for us in personal terms, and in professional terms ideally complements our advisory range with his expertise in medical law," Dürr commented. Together with Metz, Treptow will also focus on advising family-owned companies and on the structuring of GmbH & Co KG's and especially apply his expertise in partnership law.

Including Dr. Oliver Treptow, 19 equity partners and 8 salaried partners are working out of the Munich office. The total number of lawyers working at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek's Munich office is 45.
