Numerous visitors welcomed and detailed discussions held at Expo Real in Munich

Digitizing the real estate sector, stabilizing rents or ever-rising prices were some of the many topics that were discussed by almost 40 Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek lawyers, their clients, colleagues, and project partners at Expo Real in Munich from October 4 to 6, 2017.

The law firm's booth was attended by numerous visitors who looked for information on the current legal situation in real estate. Their questions included topics such as: What do I need to consider in the new building contract law? What role does digitalization play in planning, construction, and building data modeling? What do I need to take into account when planning a shopping center to make it future-proof? Are investments also advisable at B and C locations? Real estate law experts discussed new ideas and unconventional solutions with the many visitors, emphasizing what should be considered at real estate projects in terms of legal aspects. In the presentation entitled “Bonds, promissory notes, shares as financing modules for real estate projects,” experts from Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek and equinet Bank reported on trends in alternative financing and the effects of regulations on bank financing conditions.

The get-together on the first trade show day represented the highlight of the firm's attendance. Some 250 guests accepted the invitation, with visitors and lawyers using the opportunity of networking and making new contacts while enjoying typical Bavarian food and beverage specialties.
