Team Jasper ranked no. 1 three times

The team of legal professionals led by Ute Jasper of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek took three first-place spots. The renowned law firm rankings Who's Who, Legal 500, and JUVE all awarded the team first ranks for advice to the public sector.

“JUVE, Germany's most important industry analyst, ranked us as no. 1 for the sixth year in a row now – that is something that we are really proud of,” said Ute Jasper, head of the Public Sector department in Düsseldorf.

Only very few law firms succeed in what the Heuking lawyers have achieved: being ranked in first place internationally as well. Who's Who Legal and Legal 500, two international market observers, also ranked the team led by Jasper in the top spots – for Government Contracts and for Public Procurement.

The legal research guides review several hundred commercial law firms annually, surveying clients and peers, and use this information to determine well-founded assessments.

“We are particularly pleased with our clients' references,” stated Jasper. “We will continue to make every effort not only to review legal issues, but also to continue what we are appreciated for – developing ‘tailor-made,’ ‘creative and at the same time legally compliant solutions’.”

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek’s Public Sector & Public Procurement practice group is highly respected, established, and well known for its innovative projects. Jasper and her team have developed and advised on numerous pilot projects in the transportation sector, including the lifecycle model for the RRX in North Rhine-Westphalia and the competition for emission-free trains on the Ortenau railroad in Baden-Württemberg. In Wiesbaden, the team is currently advising on the first German project to convert an entire bus fleet from diesel to electric drive.
