Dr. Hans Gummert and Dr. Ute Jasper publish in Munich Handbook of Corporate Law

In the recently published 5th edition of Munich Handbook of Corporate Law, Dr. Hans Gummert and Dr. Ute Jasper authored parts of Volume 3, “Company with Limited Liability.”

Volume 3 comprehensively explains the law governing German limited liability companies. In addition to a wealth of new jurisdiction, the new edition takes into account the 2nd Cost Law Modernization Act, the Equal Opportunities and Participation in Leadership Positions Act, the Accounting Directive Implementation Act, the Stock Corporation Act Amendment 2016, and the reform of auditors’ law (Auditors’ Supervision Reform Act, Auditing Reform Act), which extended the Act on Limited Liability Companies by Sections 86 to 88.

For more than 25 years, the handbook, comprising eight volumes in the meantime, has set quality standards. The 2052-page work is perfectly suited for practitioners of business law, in particular lawyers, notaries, tax consultants, auditors and merchants, shareholders and general managers of limited liability companies. It may be ordered here.

Dr. Hans Gummert is Partner and Managing Partner of the business law firm of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek. In addition to corporate law, his main areas of expertise include transformation law, group law, law governing associations and foundations, medical law and medical company law, hospital law, and compliance.
Dr. Ute Jasper is one of the best-known lawyers for public procurement and infrastructure projects. She advises federal and state ministries, municipalities, and companies, particularly on innovative and complex projects. She also heads the “Public Sector & Public Procurement” department.
