Wirtschaftswoche recognizes Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek’s restructuring team

Wirtschaftswoche magazine published its ranking: Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek was awarded “Top Law Firm 2018” in “Insolvency Law & Restructuring.” Prof. Dr. Georg Streit, Partner at the Munich office, and Dr. Stefan Proske, Partner at the firm’s Berlin office, are among the “Top Lawyers 2018” in this legal field.

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek’s Restructuring Practice Group comprises some 50 experts, who have par-ticular experience in insolvency law, reorganization, and restructuring. Thanks to a vast network, the lawyers are able to advise their clients far beyond the legal work during the course of reorganization.

In an initial step, Handelsblatt Research Institute had identified 660 insolvency lawyers from 62 law firms for the list of top insolvency experts. Those lawyers were given the opportunity to name their five most renowned colleagues, which resulted in a list of 146 lawyers from 65 law firms. After assessment by an expert jury, Handelsblatt Research Institute weighted the responses from the survey and the jury round to obtain the final top list of 49 leading insolvency firms and 70 recommended lawyers.
