Effective June 1, 2020, Ulrike Gantenberg, Partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, will become a member of the Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution (SCAI). Dr. Bernd Ehle, Partner at Lalive in Geneva, and Paolo Marzolini, Partner at Patocchi & Marzolini in Geneva, will also join the SCAI arbitral tribunal.
Applying their different legal backgrounds and experience from their international practices, Gantenberg, Ehle, and Marzolini will enhance the diversity of SCAI. The three new members are succeeding Prof. Sébastien Besson, Prof. Christoph Brunner, Stefano Codoni, Prof. Christoph Müller, and Dr. Goran Mazzucchelli, whose term of office as members of the arbitral tribunal is coming to an end.
SCAI is an arbitration institution based in Geneva which provides dispute resolution services based on the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration and the Swiss Rules of Commercial Mediation. Since 2012, it has been an independent institution founded by the Swiss Chambers of Commerce of Basel, Berne, Geneva, Lausanne, Lugano, Neuchâtel, and Zurich.
Ulrike Gantenberg is a member of the Corporate/M&A Practice Group at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek and co-head of the Litigation/Arbitration Practice Group. She is already a board member of the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS), Chair of the Committee for Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution of the German Bar Association (DAV), a member of the International Advisory Board of the Vienna International Arbitral Centre of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, as well as a member in other associations.
