A team led by Stuttgart-based Partner Dr. Juliane Reichelt advised SEMODU Olympisches Dorf Entwicklungsgesellschaft 1 mbH on the sale of all shares in the three project companies “Olympisches Dorf B3”.
The seller is a subsidiary of SEMODU AG. SEMODU had used the three project companies that were now sold to acquire various plots of land comprising an area of 17,700 square meters on the territory of the former Olympic Village near Berlin in 2019. It had planned to build some 180 residential units. At present, a revitalization of the area, which was built for the 1936 Summer Olympics, is scheduled.
SEMODU AG, based in Munich and operating nationwide and internationally, is particularly active in modular construction and industrial series production of buildings. SEMODU designs and produces high-quality building modules with a high content of wood for both private and commercial use and develops new methods for building control and the energy supply of buildings with the aid of the latest software solutions.
