BayWa Bau- und Garten – Increase in funding

With a Frankfurt-based team led by partner Thomas K. Schrell, business law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen Girozentrale (Helaba) on increasing the existing financing volume for BayWa Bau- und Garten group.

The existing loan volume was increased by shareholder funds in the double-digit million range.

BayWa Bau- & Garten KG operates 53 DIY stores with garden centers in southern Germany and an online store. The specialist stores offer a range of about 60,000 items covering all aspects of construction, renovation, and design in home and garden, as well as for leisure activities and pet lovers. BayWa Bau und Garten employs some 2,000 people.
