Dr. Hans Gummert publishes new edition of Munich Lawyers’ Handbook on the Law governing Partnerships

The 3rd revised edition of Munich Lawyers’ Handbook on the Law governing Partnerships has been published by C.H.BECK. Heuking lawyers Dr. Florian Brombach, LL.M., Dr. Götz G. Karrer, Dr. Patrick Müller, LL.M., Dr. Katja Plückelmann, and Kristina Schneider, LL.M. also contributed as authors to the new edition, which, like the two previous editions, was published by Dr. Hans Gummert. In addition to the topics of eligibility of entry in the land registry and the capacity to be parties to legal proceedings, the new edition also includes new emphases on capital maintenance, actio pro socio, and PartGmbB.

The Munich Lawyers’ Handbook on the Law governing Partnerships offers a practice-oriented presentation of the law pertaining to partnerships, ranging from establishing a company to its liquidation. The book also discusses financial and tax law aspects. The team of authors deals with the forms of companies that are important for advising small and medium-sized businesses on business law, such as GbR, oHG, KG, or PartG. It also addresses group and antitrust law, partnerships with foreign connections, and foreign corporate forms. The handbook is therefore used both as introductory reading and as a reference book.

Additional information on the book can be found on the Beck-Verlag website.

Dr. Hans Gummert is a Partner and Managing Partner of business law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek. In addition to corporate law, he also specializes in transformation law, group law, association and foundation law, medical law, as well as medical corporate law, hospital law, and compliance. He also collaborated on publishing Munich Corporate Law Handbook Volume 1 and Volume 2 earlier this year.
