HEUKING advises Geratherm Medical AG on spin-off of its operating business
A HEUKING team led by Dr. Thorsten Kuthe advised Geratherm Medical AG on the transfer of its entire operating business relating to medical devices to Geratherm Medical Germany AG, a wholly owned subsidiary. The spin-off, which was approved by the Annual General Meeting on August 16, 2024, became effective on October 25, 2024, upon entry in the commercial register. This marks the start of the realignment of Geratherm Medical AG.
Geratherm Medical AG is an internationally oriented medical technology company with business divisions in Healthcare Diagnostics, Incubator Systems, Cardio/Stroke, and Respiratory. The company has patent-protected core technologies in all key business areas and sees itself as a research-based medical technology company with a clear focus on medical diagnostic products for generating vital data. Geratherm shares have been listed on the Official Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2000. The company has been listed in the Scale segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2022.
