HEUKING successfully represents STRABAG AG in merger control proceedings for the acquisition of the Stumpp Group
A cross-office team led by Dr. Stefan Bretthauer successfully represented STRABAG AG, Cologne, before the German Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt) in merger control proceedings concerning the acquisition of all shares in the Stumpp Group, Balingen, which operates in road construction and upstream markets in southern Baden-Württemberg. The acquisition was cleared by the Federal Cartel Office on March 2, 2026, subject to conditions. Following fulfillment of the conditions, the merger was completed on April 28, 2026.
