1971 Law firm established by today's name partners Dr. Hans Günter Heuking and Dr. Wolfgang Kühn in Düsseldorf. Dr. Michael Kunz, a tax advisor and auditor, joined the team of founders.

1990er Expansion of law firm.

1990 Established offices in Berlin and Chemnitz.

1990 Established office in Frankfurt.

1992 Name partners Dr. Ralf J. Wojtek in Hamburg und Dr. Hans-Jochem Lüer in Cologne joined the law firm.

1999 Established Brussels office to account for increasing Europeanization.

2002 Established office in Munich.

2008 Established office in Zurich.
