The previous management team members Dr. Dieter Bohnert, Dr. Armin Frhr. von Grießenbeck and Dr. Stefan Duhnkrack, some of whom had served on the Management Committee for several terms, were no longer running for reelection.

Dr. Andreas Urban, born in 1956, has been working as Partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek since 2000. He provides counsel to clients from the Düsseldorf and Berlin offices and focuses on Corporate Law and M&A. Prior to his work at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, Urban used to be Partner of Ernst & Young-allied law firm Menold & Aulinger (now Luther).

"I very much look forward to the new task and am highly pleased about the confidence placed in me by the partners of the law firm as expressed in my election. It will now initially be necessary to assemble a new Management Committee, allowing it to start its work as a new team shortly," said the newly elected Managing Partner.

In his function, Urban's main focus will be on strengthening the law firm's core competencies and on continuing to pursue the objectives of the previous management team, growing international markets, expanding national presence and effectively communicating the partnership to the public.

The previous Management Committee has taken important steps to highlight the main activity fields and to communicate the firm's strengths which is also reflected in increased revenue. In the last three years, Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek has enjoyed a steady flow of new Partners joining the firm. "The previous Management Committee succeeded in navigating the partnership through the general economic crisis in an outstanding manner. We want to build on that and continue to write the success story of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in the years to come," Andreas Urban expresses his own objectives.
