QVM Privatkapital takes over GLOBOS Logistik- und Informationssysteme GmbH

Funding by Sparkasse Hannover

With a Frankfurt-based team led by Partner Thomas K. W. Schrell, Heuking advised Sparkasse Hannover on funding QVM Privatkapital’s acquisition of GLOBOS Logistik- und Informationssysteme GmbH.

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek comprehensively supported the funding bank in drafting, structuring, negotiating, and implementing the entire financing documentation. The relevant credit lines have a term of seven years. In addition to financing the acquisition, the funding serves to repay existing liabilities and to finance the group’s general working capital needs.

QVM acquired GLOBOS Logistik- und Informationssysteme GmbH from the founding shareholder in a structured sales process. Based in Hanover/Lower Saxony, GLOBOS is a system vendor focusing on manufacturer-independent consulting, sales, and integration of innovative barcode systems. The company is a full-service provider of barcode systems in the German-speaking region. In addition to handheld scanners, its product portfolio includes peripheral devices such as mobile terminals and label printers. The company currently employs 91 people.

QVM Privatkapital GmbH is an investment firm funded by a selected group of entrepreneurial private investors and the initiators. It focuses particularly on succession situations, growth projects, and other changes in shareholder structures.
