WirtschaftsWoche recognizes Heuking as Top Law Firm in Data Protection Law

In its special issue “Data Protection and IT Law,” WirtschaftsWoche magazine recognizes Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek as a Top Law Firm 2022 in Data Protection Law. Once again, Cologne-based Heuking lawyer Dr. Lutz Martin Keppeler is among the most renowned practitioners in data protection law. He practices at Heuking in Data Protection and Data Security.
 
The Data Protection and Data Security department supports clients in implementing requirements under data protection law and helps to establish data security. As cyberattacks on companies have increased enormously in recent years, the unit, which is part of the IP, Media & Technology practice group, also supports clients in preparing for possible cyberattacks.
 
To compile the WirtschaftsWoche ranking, Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) surveyed more than 1,250 lawyers from 152 law firms about their peers. The resulting list of lawyers was submitted to a jury of experts who compiled a final list. 23 law firms with 27 lawyers were recognized in data protection law.
