Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises a company of the Hoffmann Group on the acquisition of Gebo Essen Werkzeuge GmbH
Effective January 01, 2012, Munich-based Hoffmann Group took over its long-term partner, Gebo Werkzeuge Handelsgesellschaft mbH, headquartered in Essen. Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek legally advised the Hoffmann Group on the transaction.
As part of this extensive transaction, the business operations in Essen had already been taken over by a newly established company of the Hoffmann Group at the beginning of the year. The transaction was structured as an asset deal. In parallel, the Dutch Gebo companies were also taken over by the new Hoffmann Group company.
The Hoffmann Group is a leading integrated supplier for quality tools in Europe.
