Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises on corporate venture investment of PostFinance AG in German financial portal moneymeets

Dr. Ulrich Jork and Dr. Frank Metz, both Partners at business law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek’s Munich office, advised PostFinance AG, a subsidiary of Swiss Post, on its first corporate venture investment.

PostFinance, the market leader in Swiss payment transactions, e-finance, and electronic account management, intends to increase its presence in corporate venture in the future. Supported by Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, the financial services provider entered into its first such venture now with German financial portal moneymeets. While the deal concerns a financial investment without technical interfaces, there will be knowledge transfer among the partners, allowing PostFinance to expand its expertise in mobile banking. " As part of our involvement with moneymeets, there is a transfer of knowledge which allows us to continue to develop our know-how in the digital banking sector and shore up our existing offer," said Hansruedi Köng, PostFinance CEO.

moneymeets is an online platform and community combining multibanking, personal finance management, and insurance. It is aimed at German private individuals interested in improving their finances. By using moneymeets, customers benefit from cost savings in financial products, transparency of cost and commissions, the expertise of all members, and the possible exchange of views on financial matters. In addition, moneymeets provides a clear and evaluable overview of all integrated financial products.
