Our firm name and contact details are currently being misused for phishing emails. Among other things, the fraudsters are sending cease-and-desist letters using our firm name, logo, and address. These emails are expressly not from HEUKING.

Please be sure to check the sender address and the plausibility of the content of any suspicious emails. Messages from HEUKING are sent exclusively from heuking.de. We do not send blanket cease-and-desist letters by email and will never ask you to make payments in an email in such a context.

How can you verify the authenticity of an email from HEUKING?

• Emails from HEUKING are sent without exception from email addresses ending in heuking.de. Therefore, first check whether the sender name displayed in your email program matches the underlying email address.
• We only contact you on business matters through personal contacts who, as a rule, are already known to you. If you are contacted unsolicited and/or by attorneys from our firm whom you do not know regarding a matter that is entirely unfamiliar to you, this may be an indication of a fraudulent email.
• Payment requests from HEUKING are made exclusively within the framework of an existing client engagement. We will never ask you to make payments using links or download options.

What should you do if you receive a suspicious email?

• If you have any doubts about the authenticity of a message, please contact us using the form below. Please provide the sender and, as precisely as possible, the content of the suspicious email so that we can investigate the matter.
• Do not reply to the suspicious email.
• Do not click on any links and do not open any attachments in suspicious emails.
• If applicable, file a report and contact your local police department.
