HEUKING becomes exclusive Legal Partner of MotionLab.Berlin

HEUKING is now the exclusive legal partner of MotionLab.Berlin, supporting the entire hardtech and deep-tech community through a long-term partnership. The collaboration extends beyond the Hardtech Innovation Accelerator to encompass all start-ups and members of the MotionLab.Berlin ecosystem — including the future model campus ringberlin in Berlin-Mariendorf. The goal is to provide founders with a solid legal and tax basis for building and scaling their companies from the earliest stages.

The collaboration has been growing since 2023. It began at HEUKING's Venture Capital Night in Hamburg, where the teams from HEUKING and MotionLab.Berlin first connected. What started as cooperation on individual matters evolved into a structured, long-term partnership.

As part of the partnership, the HEUKING team, led by Ariane Neubauer and Dr. Henrik Lay, will be firmly embedded within the MotionLab.Berlin ecosystem. Advisory services begin at the earliest company stages to address key legal and structural issues and to prevent missteps in subsequent financing rounds.

The collaboration is designed for close operational integration across the entire MotionLab.Berlin ecosystem and rests on three pillars in particular:

• Integration into the Hardtech Innovation Accelerator: HEUKING serves as the dedicated legal contact for company incorporations and financing rounds within the program.
• Direct Onboarding: New start-ups and members of the MotionLab.Berlin campus receive structured access to qualified legal advice from day one.
• "Ask-a-Lawyer" Format: A curated process provides fast, tailored access to relevant legal expertise — without additional search effort.

The partnership supports the continued expansion of the MotionLab.Berlin ecosystem — from the current campus through the opening of ringberlin and the planned Demo Day in March 2027. On this basis, hardtech founders can focus more on developing and scaling their technologies, while legal matters are professionally addressed in a timely manner.
