Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek Advises APK Aluminium und Kunststoffe AG on Third Financing Round

By signing a new participation agreement, APK Aluminium und Kunststoffe AG now successfully concluded its third financing round.

In the scope of this round, additional funds of the MIG Group took out an interest in the company. In addition to AT Newtec GmbH, the MIG Group has already been an investor since 2008.

The investors provide the company with a total of EUR 5.5 million in this round. The company will use the funds to continue the establishment of its manufacturing and sales activities and for further business development as scheduled.

As in the previous financing round, APK AG was advised by Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek's Cologne office. Dr. Thorsten Kuthe and Madeleine Zipperle provided legal counsel.

APK Aluminium und Kunststoffe AG is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of plastics and metals and in the acquisition and sale of associated raw materials and intermediate products. APK AG particularly employs innovative processes for plastics treatment, which reclaim the included types of plastics and metals with new product character from plastic-metal composites.
