Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek elects Management: Andreas Urban and Hans Gummert confirmed, Pär Johansson to succeed Ulrike Gantenberg

The law firm of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek reelected Management on its association meeting as scheduled on November 24, 2012.

Dr. Andreas Urban was reelected Managing Partner and will be responsible for Strategy and Marketing/PR for another three years. Dr. Hans Gummert was also reelected Managing Partner and will continue to be responsible for Finance. Ulrike Gantenberg did not run for reelection. Dr. Pär Johansson of the law firm's Cologne office will succeed her for HR.

Andreas Urban on the election: "I appreciate the confidence and am pleased that the law firm's partners have chosen continuity by reelecting us. I have an extremely positive outlook on my second term of office with my partner Gummert. I am also looking forward to working with our partner Johansson." Ulrike Gantenberg's decision to no longer be available for nomination is accepted by the colleagues. "Ms. Gantenberg has achieved very much in the last three years and has started numerous important and effective initiatives. We respect her decision to fully concentrate on her practice and would like to thank her for the excellent collaboration," Gummert and Urban both commented.

With Pär Johansson, a partner of the Cologne office will join Management, who is mainly focusing on M&A and Private Equity. Johansson has been working at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek for 17 years. "A lot has been achieved in HR in the last few years. It is highly important for the success of the law firm to not only find colleagues with excellent qualification, but also ones that are a good fit with the firm. I am looking forward to the new tasks," said Pär Johansson.

Management's own objectives - strengthening core competences of the law firm, expansion on international markets and strengthening national presence and clear lines of external presentation - have considerably been advanced in the last few years. "It will be an objective for the years to come to continue making the law firm forward-looking and to strengthen it on national and international levels," said Andreas Urban with a view to the next three years.
