HEUKING advises 3M on sale of former German headquarters in Neuss

A team led by Düsseldorf-based HEUKING partner Dr. Peter Vocke provided legal advice to 3M Real Estate GmbH & Co. KG and 3M Deutschland GmbH on the sale of a former building in Germany.

The approximately 85,000 m² site in Neuss will be taken over by Panattoni for the sustainable development of a business and commercial park based on the "City Dock" concept. Part of the property will remain owned by 3M and will continue to be used by the company. 3M thus remains committed to the location.

The move to a smaller administrative building took place last year in response to the spin-off of the healthcare division and developments in the area of hybrid working, which reduced the space required. The HEUKING team also provided advice in this matter.
