HIH Invest acquires neighborhood shopping center “Deli” in Duisburg
A team led by Dr. Sönke Görgens, Partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, advised HIH Invest Real Estate GmbH on the acquisition of “Deli,” a mixed-use neighborhood shopping center in Duisburg, on behalf of open-ended special AIF “Perspektive Einzelhandel: Fokus Nahversorgung.” The Heuking team legally advised HIH Invest comprehensively and conducted legal and tax due diligence.
The “Deli” neighborhood shopping center is located in the Rheinhausen district at Asterlager Str. 88-94, where it has been established for over 20 years. The property’s total leasable area comprises about 18,700 square meters and additionally offers 568 car parking spaces. The property consists of a group of three stand-alone specialist stores and a DIY store. Anchor tenants are an Edeka store with just under 7,000 square meters and a toom DIY store with more than 8,800 square meters of leased space. Dänisches Bettenlager and specialist store Frütel Sport & Spiel are leasing more than 1,000 square meters each.
