Led by Dr. Armin Freiherr von Grießenbeck, Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek legally advised Obermeyer Planen + Beraten GmbH in two proceedings before Cologne Regional Court in connection with the collapse of the archive in Cologne. The advice includes the defense of claims. Experts are currently examining the site in order to find reasons for the trench wall failure.

The archive collapse in 2009 resulted in cost of 1.2 billion euros. The total includes 400 million euros for salvaging and restoring archived goods and 80 million euros for the construction of the new archive on Eifelwall.
