HEUKING advises MyDent on the acquisition of the GPNZ Group

A cross-office team at HEUKING, led by Dr. Florian Brombach, provided comprehensive legal counsel to MyDent in connection with its acquisition of the GPNZ Group (Gesellschaft für Praxisnachfolge in der Zahnmedizin).

With the acquisition of the GPNZ Group, one of the leading independent dental networks in Germany is created. Founded in 2018, GPNZ Group operates a network of 19 dental practices, one dental laboratory, and one clinic, employing approximately 380 people. The group has a particularly strong presence in mid-sized cities and economically vibrant metropolitan areas.

MyDent was also founded in 2018 and is an owner-operated, dentist-led dental group with twelve locations to date in North Rhine-Westphalia and Hesse. Its range of services includes general dentistry, implantology, oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry, among others.

The transaction creates a network of approximately 30 locations throughout Germany. The complementary regional footprints of both groups establish a strong foundation for advancing dental care delivery and for further growth in the increasingly consolidating German dental market.
