HEUKING advises Arcos on €5.5 million seed funding round
HEUKING, a leading German law firm, provided comprehensive legal counsel to Munich-based technology company Arcos on its €5.5 million seed funding round. The round was completed with participation from High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), Bayern Kapital, Pact, Haufe, and Robin Capital, along with strategic angel investors.
Arcos is a Munich-headquartered technology provider specializing in civilian security. Founded by Louis Wübben and Moritz Steigerwald, the company develops and operates an integrated security infrastructure that combines signal processing, decision-making, and the operational handling of security incidents within a single system. Through its "Trident" platform, Arcos addresses one of the most pressing challenges of our time: protecting critical infrastructure against sabotage and attacks—from electrical substations and data centers to railway lines and industrial facilities.
The security industry is at a turning point: while the number of deployed sensors continues to grow, the available security workforce is shrinking. Arcos bridges this gap with a fully proprietary technology stack developed and operated entirely in Europe, capable of capturing alarm signals, qualifying them, and translating them into actionable response measures.
Arcos will use the €5.5 million in newly raised capital to expand its team in Germany, broaden its product portfolio, and accelerate its scale-up in the critical infrastructure market. As a next step, the company plans to enter additional European markets.
