HEUKING advises DPE portfolio company CirQono on the acquisition of Gertner & Fettback
A HEUKING team led by Hamburg partner Dr. Peter Christian Schmidt advised CirQono, a portfolio company of Deutsche Private Equity (DPE), on the acquisition of G&F Gertner & Fettback GmbH.
With the signing of the agreement, CirQono is strategically strengthening its presence in southwest Berlin and Brandenburg through its core brand, DARE. At the same time, the company is expanding its capabilities in building demolition and hazardous waste disposal. CirQono plans to gradually develop the Glindow site and make even better use of its waste disposal and logistics capacities in the future. The transaction is part of CirQono’s growth strategy and follows an acquisition in Ludwigsfelde in 2024.
With its core brand DARE, CirQono is a leading provider of building demolition, hazardous material remediation, recycling, and waste disposal in the Berlin-Brandenburg region. Deutsche Private Equity has been a growth partner for medium-sized companies in the DACH region since 2007 and currently manages assets of approximately three billion euros.
G&F Gertner & Fettback GmbH is headquartered in the Potsdam area and specializes in demolition, hazardous material remediation, earthworks, and recycling. The company operates a recycling facility in Glindow and works for public and private clients in the region.
