Qualifications/Current topics
Dr. Anton Horn is an equity partner in HEUKING's Düsseldorf office and specializes in patent law. He frequently appears before courts and offices, with an experienced and well-coordinated team of litigation lawyers and patent attorneys. He holds a doctorate in project management.
As early as 2006, the Düsseldorf Bar Association appointed him as a member of the examination committee for Certified Specialist Lawyer in Intellectual Property Law. He is the only lawyer who has been a member of this body continuously since then.
Since 2012, Anton Horn has also led the WSG Patent Law Team, which consists of leading patent lawyers around the world.
He was lead counsel in the landmark "steam dryer" case before the German Federal Court of Justice in 2024, a globally respected precedent for claims for damages in cross-border patent infringement.
It is recommended by all relevant rankings, including Chambers Global.
